It's not obvious in my profile photo, but I have extremely long hair. When it's loose, it falls down past my waist and generally whips around a little. Yesterday morning I decided to try to do my weight training stuff while I was spending time with the cats, which should have been mostly okay. Namir tends to scatter when I do anything really odd, and Gabe and Rhys just usually sit and watch. However, my loose hair was too much of a lure for Gabe. As I tried to do crunches on the floor, he began rabidly scent marking my head, hair, and face. I didn't mind the scent marking much, but I was less thrilled when Gabe pounced on my head and BIT my scalp! Apparently, the moving of my head and hair back and forth was too much for his prey instincts. Fortunately, he didn't break skin, but geez!
I don't know why I'm so surprised when Gabe does odd things though...this IS the cat that stole my underwear afterall, something I thought was more of a dog thing.
