Wow. How far I've traveled to get here. People kept telling me how much work it is. I didn't understand what they meant though. It is a lot of work, but not in the sense I imagined. The amount of information we get in a single day is insane. Undergrad kept me busy, but all of the material was presented in class. You never heard, "we don't have time to cover this in lecture today, but you need to know...". What is even worse is when you think you are in good shape studying for an anatomy test and you come across the 20 topics not covered in class, several unknown reading assignments, and need to know it all by tomorrow morning. It is only my first semester. It gets harder by the semester. This is not a "weed out" year.
On the other hand, I am having the time of my life.
I can't remember if I have seen my husband this week.
