Amazingly, the dogs were all wonderfully well-behaved last night despite the excitement of the weekend. Then again they'd probably gotten out some of their fussiness as excitement when Paul visited Saturday night. They were even able to have rawhides out as a group when I went to bed without trying to start problems with each other. Akane got the last bit of rawhide this morning to keep her quiet while I tried to do yoga before work. Instead I spent more time laughing hysterically at Akane's OCD-like behaviour.

She really wanted to have the rawhide, but Akane has always suffered from the urge to hide her favourite things from the other dogs. When she can only hide things in my bedroom though, it's limited. Akane spent about 30 minutes trying to bury the rawhide in the blanket on my bed (fairly successful), in one of the dog beds (Um, it was sitting in the middle of the bed for anyone to see despite Akane doing "air-covering" motions with her nose), and then on the cedar dog bed (similar to the other dog bed)...why can't she just chew these things? I guess she was done but didn't want anyone else to have it!
