This is disturbing. These film-makers are going to profit off these street dogs rather than help them. They followed them around for a year and didn't bother to help them. That's cruel and sick!!!

If many of animal rights activists get their way, all our pets would live like that and so would all farm animals.

this is so heartbreaking!! the saddest part is at one time some of these dogs had a home.i live in new york and i have yet to see dogs living on the street in packs like this.granted we do have strays but not in large groups.this really breaks my heart.what a helpless feeling i have right now.shame on the "pet owners" that dumped some of these poor dogs.i see so many postings on craigslist about people looking to "rehome" their pets for the stupidest reasons!! how sad.i agree with moore4dogs.i have 2 dogs and i would literally sleep in my car before i would "rehome" them. where is the loyalty? animals are not disposable.not to mention with all the unwanted animals why are we continuing to breed more? spay and neuter!! shelters are not just mixed breed animals people dump purebreeds too!!

it's hard to believe, I agree, but if this is happening in a big city like L.A., it has got to be happening in many other cities too, and we just don't hear about it. That is why I think this video is so important.

The sight of those homeless dogs and the whizzing cars just freaked me out and made me see how we,as a society are becoming.....so extremely uncaring. It's the "all about me" mentality that is breaking down the fabric of life and is especially visible in larger cities. There is such an epidemic of pet-overpopulation, and there seems to be 2 types of people, those who create "more" of the problem by not spaying, neutering or being fully responsible for their pets. Then there are the other spectrum, who we find here at zootoo, they are the opposite. I am constantly trying to figure out "how" to get the message across to the "the other side"? Hey, why not put stuff like this on all news stations in the U.S.? Maybe,we need a law about responsible ownership or whatever you want to call it. It's like pets are becoming so disposable, like a McDonald's hamburger wrapper.... and we don't know if profit was in mind of the producer of this short film, maybe just education, out of concern. Either way, it makes me want to get in my car and drive to that town and rescue those dogs.

I know what you're feeling...........anger and frustration. You really do want to help and make a difference(I admire you so much for that), but you don't know where to start. Somebody out here has got to be reading this that come up with SOME ideas.
ANYBODY ??????????????? Anybody from that area that can give us some input......

total anger and frustration DeeDee! Hopefully, someone can tell us something from that area that is here on zootoo, but , really, I would drive there to start helping those dogs, but the big unknown is then what, I guess, drive em' back here. ????? I dunno? I am so frustrated by this.

It turned my stomach! The people in L.A. and the wealthy Hollywood "stars" (as well as others with the financial ability to help) ought to be ashamed of not taking greater measures to eradicate the problem. Someone has taken a step--making a movie--but probably more out of a profit-motive instead of a preventive one.
