What an enriching experience my 2nd grade class had participating in the welcoming of the Zootoo officials to Potsdam.  Before going to the animal shelter students worked together to help show their support for the animals.  The students were also able to see the support the community is providing our animal shelter and the people who work and volunteer there.  It was also an opportunity for them to listen to the mayor speak which was pretty exciting. It was a great day!
