I read a journal the other day and someone made a comment about how people tend to rush through the seasons without taking in the beauty that is right before us...The here and now.

I agreed with this person's comment because, I love to see the beauty of each new day.

Although, I live in the northeast and it is terribly cold most winters, and we tend to get buried in snow, I realize that it is one of the things that make each season what they become.

Call me crazy if you will but, I went to bed pretty early last night...I woke up at 2:38 this morning and have been up ever since. I did a little housework, had some coffee, fed my Kittles and of course, have been zootooing.

When the night skies started to fade, I went out to hang a small throw rug on the deck railing and realized the beautiful sky above me. Naturally, I had to go get my camera.

I went out front to see what the skies looked like to the west and southwest and was tickled pink at what I saw! I was able to capture the moon. And, not even a couple of minutes later, a morning moon and a lovely bouquet of pinks in the southwest sky.

Hubby is coming home today and I could not think of a better way to start my day! I love the breathtaking, early morning, autumn skies...I just wish he were here to enjoy them with me.
