Yes I have a Pit bull

I love all my critters, my chins are so fun to watch, my corgi is my little guard dog, but I feel like my pit bull is my cause for social and political action. She's the first one I've had, and she's such a loving dog, a big puppy, really. She follows me everywhere I go, will tear off running down the beach but stop on a dime and charge back toward me when I call her. She wants to meet and love and play with everyone and everything.
and yet...people are so afraid of her. I've heard time and time again, even from the animal lovers on this site, that the breed is bad, their instincts are to kill, and they should all be eradicated. Having her as a member of my family prevents me from living in certain counties, if I were offered a job in Miami I would either have to turn it down or live outside Dade county because they don't permit pit bulls. I have one thing to say to these people, meet her, or a dog like her, bred by a responsible breeder, raised as a member of a loving family, and trained to have good doggie manners. Foxy has better manners than many of my friends' more socially acceptable dog breeds. Judging all pit bulls by the cases in the news is a form of racial profiling, think about it.
