Pit Bull Mixed Breed Baby

I have to say I've never really felt biased against Pits or Pit mixes before because I've know several and have loved them all. Maggie is the newest addition to our little pack and frankly she is a sweetheart. She needs some training when it comes to eating together but that just takes training and supervision. She is so good natured we forget she's a pit, honestly we don't treat her any differently than any of the cats or dogs that live with us. I think any animal is capable of biting, growling, defending what they percieve as a threat. Animal care and training always, always falls back on the owner, the people involved are or should be responsible for their pet.

Good for you! Pits are what people make them. All they ever get is bad press. Reason one is because they are what I call the "Flavor of the Month" meaning they are the most popular dog right now, for all the wrong reasons. The biggest thing right now is for guarding drug houses and other illegal things. Also people who want a macho dog. I would love to see the press do a positive story on them to show people what they can be. Ceasar Millan is grooming a Blue pit puppy to be the next Daddy for his show. Yeah Cesar.
