Last Tuesday was a day to play catch up with three young stallions, that became geldings that afternoon. Thor has been to the trainer this spring and done so well, yet the decision was simple, no need to keep him a stallion, even as sweet as he has been. Longhorn put up a stink, and his mom was not to happy either while they stood tide and waited for the vet. She has refused to wein this colt and now he is a year and half old, sign was right, so gelded, and away she was took. She put up a stink about as much as he did, and that is why she was placed at the barn pasture ten miles away. He is doing fine, and looks so nice every day. Spring will find him in training and he will break out nice. He has hancock leo doc bar on his top and dash for cash in his dam lineage, so he will have speed for sure.
Winter is fast upon us, and fall is peeking in the corner. just does not seem like this year has just blown by.
