When a dear is not a deer, but a dog!

Wiggles is such a dear; all the dog attack problems have left him unaffected and still he loves everyone.
His girlfriend is a Jack Russell Terrier named Katie and he lets her roughhouse with him something atrocious!!! Sometimes he just flops on the floor and lets her 'run laps' around him, occasionally putting his paw up as if to say, "Time out, Katie girl!"
Did I mention that Wiggles has been blind for the past three+ years? Imagine how you or I would be traumatized to be attacked by a St. Bernard, and Wiggles didn't even see it coming! God has blessed me so greatly with this most special dog friend.
Regarding the bullies that let their dogs run loose, "There but for the grace of God, go I." Thanks be to God that we are in OUR shoes and not theirs. I do not want to know what evil motivates them to do what they do, including being such irresponsible and mean 'owners.'
