Theodore Is Now a City Dog

Last weekend, my daughter Maria moved into New York City with my grand-dog Theodore. The little boy has had a difficult time adjusting to the noise of the city and probably other aspects of urban living. After all, Doughy (as we affectionately call him) has been a suburbanite for three years. Maria recognized that her baby might have adjustment problems, so she moved on a weekend and took three days off from work to help him become acclimated to his new home. Her idea worked well. Although Theodore is still not totally a city slicker, he is much better for her having been with him those first few days.
