As like most pets, Precious is very aware of what is happening in the family. When my mother and i used to fight she would come over to us and try to stop the arguing. She would casually stroll over to the two of us and start meowing at us to stop yelling. If we didn't listen to her she would then come over and start batting us on the leg(no claws of course!)When someone in the family is not feeling well or is in a bad mood she will come over to you and comfort you. She knows you need it. Precious has always slept with me at night. Its because she loves me the best :]. Actually its because I'm the only one in my family who doesn't toss and turn at night. Recently, since my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer she sleeps with my mother every night. When my mom was about to start loosing her hair from the chemo she told me the Precious would come over and start licking her hair, she never did that before my mother said. There are several other little things that she does that makes me and my family really believe that she is part of the family and has a special healing power to our family.
