I'm beginning to wonder how much of Krista's shy act is genuine shyness and how much is just a play on the other CPP members' emotions. My little miss managed to get a dog lollypop (I knew about that one since I unwrapped them for the three big dogs), some rawhide sticks, a piece of potato wedge, some FRIED CHICKEN, a handfull of Nutro carrot crunchy dog treats, and several Ritz combos (flat crackers with pretzel on one side and regular Ritz crackers on the other) during a 3 1/2 hour adoption event yesterday! Krista just stares at Liz or Priscilla or Frankie with her dark sad eyes and convinces them that she's in dire need of a treat. Fortunately, she doesn't have a sensitive stomach unlike some of my previous fosters *coughSTINGERcough*, but she did have a touch of diarrhea by the time we got home...Krista's far more clever than we've been thinking, and she's totally playing the other volunteers with those soulful eyes!
