Yesterday, Wednesday February 18th, they had the judging of the Cherokee County Science Fair. Most of you know my daughter Nikki did her science fair project on the effects of therapy dogs on people in nursing homes. She used her dog Zoey for this project. Well she got first place at Grandview School in her division of behavioral science. Yesterday at county there were 17 entries in her division and she got first place there too! I am so proud of her and all she did with this project. And thank you so much to everyone out there that helped her and supported her. Rita your the best! Awards will be at the Vo-Tec center on Monday night at 7 pm. This is her 3rd year to make it to county with a project and she finished 3rd the other 2 times. She will be going to the high school next year so this was her last year to do a science fair project and I am so glad she finished the way she did.

Nikki has won the humane society dog show with Zoey and now she wins with this project with her also. I wonder what Nikki and Zoey will accomplish together next!
