Fay and Felix break my heart! I don't think that they have ever been in a house; they were scared to death to come inside, even if I was holding them. I was able to bait them a few feet inside with treats though. It took those two longer to figure out the sliding glass door than any other puppies we've had. They have gotten pretty comfortable in their pen and in the yard with Wiggles and Ella already. I think having the big dogs around is helping them to relax a little bit. Felix seems very protective of Fay and lays on top of her when I come to see them. Fay reminds me a lot of Ella, both in breed and temperament. Hopefully she will grow out of her fearfulness - Ella did not. Felix seems cautious about everything, but he has more confidence. When you hold either of them, they are just so tense and shake. But, we've already started making progress and I'm excited to see them become more confident with time and experience.
