Delta learned the emergency recall command "Here" in obedience class. We have been practicing it each week on our walks and during class. During practice she is always set up to be successful and get the good treats. Tonight we were playing in the back yard and Delta was wandering around instead of getting her ball and in trying to call her back to me, I inadvertently called, "Delta, here." Sure enough she stopped nosing around and ran right to me! Good thing I had a pocket full of treats for a big reward!
