Felix and Fay have really begun to come out of their shells. They now come to me with full body wags and are seeking out attention; a complete turn around from cowering in the corner and huddled together like they were. They are actually acting like puppies now and getting into trouble and starting to play. They still have trouble making the transition from place to place (i.e. going outside on their own, or coming out of their crate on their own). Felix still freaks out when you hold him, but Fay is starting to relax a little with handling. I had them in the house with me while I vacuumed and they actually came up to play with the vacuum, something even brave puppies hesitate with. I have a feeling that they will go right back to cowering in the corner if introduced to a new setting or person right now, but I am happy to see that they can adapt to a home rather quickly. I was worried at first because if Felix stayed skittish into adulthood, he would be a very scary large dog. Fay is looking healthier already and loves to be getting food without having to fight for it; she will take the food into her mouth one at a time and roll around with it in her mouth for awhile, like she is savoring it or something. Now onto the housebreaking...
