This morning I was hanging out with Ella and our foster dog, Midnight. Ella made the tremendous step of playing with Midnight...it did end in a brawl, but there was some good playing action for a good five minutes! I don't know what it is with Ella and Midnight, Ella is usually very good with our foster dogs. Ella can't stand to watch Wiggles and Midnight play, she has to get in the middle of it the second they start. If Midnight comes and sits next to me, Ella will come up and whack her in the face. I don't know where Ella learned to hit, but that is her main defense, she is just miss attitude. Ella will just sit there with this low growl that lasts for minutes at a time and stare at her from across the room before she storms out and goes under the bed, at least she is all talk. It is a good thing that Midnight has such an easy-going temperament, nothing phases her or gets her upset. People could learn a few things from a dog who has been in a shelter for a very long time
now and still has not a care in the world.
