I am a volunteer at my local shelter and since this website focuses on animals and animal lovers, I want to stress the importance of volunteering at your own local shelters and helping out animals who do not have homes. it breaks my heart to see how many animals are brought in every day and just need a good loving home. While they are at the shelters all they want is some attention, time out of their cages and to be socialized. Just 20 minutes a day can make a big difference in the lives of these cats and dogs. If you do not already volunteer, please make an effort to donate a little of your time to something you love anyways. It will make you feel better about yourself and make a brighter day for even one animal, makes a huge difference.
