Today is the 3 week anniversary of adopting Choco. We keep seeing new behaviors. He's still a puppy, and becoming very mischievous: tearing up newspaper, stealing slippers, pulling trash out of the garbage. He willingly trades these items, which is good. He knows: sit, down, come, but is not 100% responsive. We are working on "OFF" because he constantly jumps on people, either standing or stiing. Besides going potty in the house (which is pretty much taken care of, except for going poop the other day after it snowed 9"), this jumping up on people is his worst behavior. We've had 1 obedience class, missed one due to his neutering surgery, and the last one was cancelled due to the snow. Also, we think his microchip popped out. The vet's scanner, which is supposed to read all chips, couldn't find it, neither could the vet tech or my husband with a physical search. So, we have to go back to the Shelter to see if they can find it with their scanner; if not, he'll have to get rechipped. All in all, we're are all mutually in love.
