The shelter was absolutely wild this afternoon, but it was probably worth it because we got a lot of applications for adoptions. I don't know exactly how many because I was so busy I didn't have time to look at the stack of applications but it must have been a dozen or more. I only had two applications myself but while talking to one of the other voluntters, she said she had five this afternoon. And several others had several as well.
I actually had time to sit down for about five minutes once around four o'clock but, other than that short break, it was over four hours on my feet. I'm really tired but it was worth it because a dozen or more wonderful animals will now find their furever homes.
