Someone is waiting for you. It may be a cat or a dog or even a rabbit or a horse. Your animal has a lot of love in his or her heart and is counting the weeks, days, hours until he or she meets you.
I've had that click of recognition. Tonight I want to write about my darling Zoey. Last summer she was rescued by Cat Welfare. At age 13, her prospects for a new family did not look great. There were so many kittens competing for attention and an elderly lady cat, however beautiful and majestic, just does not compete well with those tiny bundles of fun.
That was until I came along and saw Zoey's outstanding quatlities. A keen observer, Zoey is watching me as I type. I adopted her last August and she's probably had her 14th birthday by now.
Some special providence must have joined me and Zoey. How unlikely it was that we would ever meet. But she was the special someone who was waiting for me last summer. Will someone be waiting for you soon? Is someone already waiting?
