Saying good-bye to a foster pet

I have fostered countless shelter dogs and cats over the past two plus years. Today was without a doubt the hardest good-bye I ever had to say. I have never cried so much over the departure of a foster pup.......I miss you Rocky!

there are not enough awesome things to say about you for taking Rocky into your home when he needed you most. You nutured him and you are his savior....he now has new parents and a new life which is ALL because of you. DD/PB

Thanks but all I can focus on is that he isn't with me anymore. I should have fought harder to keep him. I can't believe how hard this has been.........AHHHH!!
