For those of you who know Gemmi's story, will be happy to know that she is experiencing a wonderful life in the Pocono's. My mom, Josephine, adopted this pooch from Bobbi & The Strays last year my assistance & recommendation. My mom lives alone and wanted a guard dog....let me rephrase that....she wanted a dog that "looks" like a guard dog. Well Gemmi fit that image. She is a white & black pitbull & if you did not know her, you would be fearful. However, she is far from vicious as you can get. She plays with small children and gets along with other dogs, but mostly she is the apple in my mothers eye. Every time I speak with my mother on the phone, she tells me about Gemmi and the joy she brings her. Gemmi even sleeps at night, on the bed, with my mom, head to head. She is like my mothers child & is a huge part of her life. My mom may not have found a soulmate when it comes to the men in her life, but she found a match made in heaven when it comes to Gemmi. Hey you never know, maybe another available dog lover (age 58-68) will see this message and inquire about my mom, who is currently available. FYI: You have to go through me first, so you better be pretty darn great before you respond!
