"Fake Pregnant"

I was volunteering at the MaxFund one day and on one of the cages in the incoming room was a sign that read, "PREGNANT!" My aunt rescues pregnant cats and lets them have there kittens at her house, and then she finds homes for all of them. Well, I wanted to follow in her footsteps, so I went home and BEGGED for this cat. I though the cats name was "petals" and with are pets that we had at the time all had flower names (Petunia, Daisy). I told my parents it "was a sign". It turns out her name was "Cuddles", but I didn't tell them that. Finally my parents agreed to allow us to foster her until she had the kittens. We took her home and waited 9 long weeks, and still no kittens. We took her to my uncle's clinic and he said no kittens! I was so upset, but the thought of having to return her to the shelter broke my heart. But, time went by and christmas came around. We were called to open presents, so as I was going downstairs, my dad was going up. I was specualtive, but I was going towards the tree to open presents. My dad came back down with a box with holes in it. He handed it to me and before I could open it, Petals jumped out at me. I started crying in joy. This cat is precious! I am officially a "Failed Foster Parent!"
