Penelope's Story

Penelope was a 12 year old cat that was dumped at our shelter. She came to my home after a year or so as our office cat. Her health was obviously failing and I didn't want her last days to be in the shelter....no matter how much they cared for her and loved. So she spent her last months with me and our family here. She loved it hear, especially the summer months she spent outside on the back deck sunning herself on the bench on the porch. She loved the back of the couch in the sun and also enjoyed greatly her favorite spot in the kitchen. While my time with PEnelope here was limited, it was full of love and joy and she will be missed by all of us. Thank you Penelope for the moments of utter joy and laughter you brought to all that had the pleasure of knowing you.
