Peanut becomes Phoenix

Peanut's name has been changed to Phoenix just as she has changed into a completely different dog. She came to us as a pregnant foster dog. An extremely shy distrustful girl. She has blossomed into an affectionate girl who now greets our visitors with happy expectation of pets and treats.
While her puppies went back to the shelter to find their own families, we could not break the trust and expection that she had found her "forever home" with us. She fit in perfectly with our mottly crew, getting along with every dog that we have and every dog that visits.
She is beautiful, her eyes especially. She may not meet breed standards with her long uncropped tail, but she has a face any Rottweiler lover cannot resist. We are proud to have her as part of our family and hope we can live up to her expectations of us.
