Normally I guess Jesse would have gone to the shelter but there was no room at the inn. I knew better than to even ask. I can't complain though, he is such a sweet boy even though he is a pill. Our nice clean porch and yard is now strewn with animal bones from an unknown carcas, parts of a snake that he caught, pieces of chewed up wood, bits and pieces from shoes that were unfortunately left within his reach. Nothing is safe from being molested by him. He is a one dog chewing machine. If you stand too long in one spot he will begin chewing on your clothes. Yes we give him toys but haven't found any yet that he doesn't destroy. We probably need to invest in a Kong. He is also growing at an amazing rate - gaining about 3# a week so far. I guess he'll EVENTUALLY grow up and out of this stage, just like all the kids did. When he does, I'll miss the cute pup he has been. He is a dear sweet little guy. Hard to believe someone threw him away.
