I adopted Little Janie from the Parkersburg shelter. She was brought in by owner who had her all taped up with gray duck tape in a cardboard box, who stated she was a "crazy cat!" The terrible noise of the tape being peeled off the box really freaked her out and she had to be handed with leather gloves for almost 2 weeks. She finally started calming down and rubbing up against the cage for attention, but once the cage door was opened, she would run to the back of the cage and hiss and growl all over again. I talked to her every day to calm her down and she finally let me pick her up. There's no way of knowing what this cat went through with her originial owner, but from her actions,she had to have been abused or deviled too death by a young child. I adopted her and brought her home and she is the sweetest little gal you could ever want. She gets right up in my face and smiles at me and gives me hugs. I have never seen a cat marked with her markings like this before or sense I brought her home.
