Delilah

Well, call me crazy, but I got another puppy. She is a pit bull mix. I named her Delilah and she is showing herself to be very intelligent. I took her to the vet yesterday, she got her first shots and was wormed. She was born on March 13,2008, so she is just now 6 weeks old. She did well last night, didn't cry and didn't cry when she left her mom and siblings. She got her first bath because she was filthy and is now beautiful. She slept with my son last night and had no accidents. She went outside this morning when I took her. The other dogs are kind of curious about her have sniffed her but that is it. Riley is very protective over her and is already acting like a big brother. I thought about a puppy all week, but the conditions were so terrible. The girl that had them, was pretty much homeless herself and is right before having to take them to the shelter if she doesn't give them away soon. She has no money and I donated 25 pounds of dog food to her last week to feed the mom and pups, because she had nothing to feed them. She was having to leave the place she was yesterday, so I just took Delilah, so she would have one less puppy to worry about and I knew that one would have a good home. My other dogs are taking to her fine, so everything is going well. Please pray for acceptance!
