Bonnie Rose our new family member

We have just adopted Bonnie Rose. She is a rescue. We are thrilled to have her in our family. She is about 6 months old. She is house broken,crate trained, trained to do tricks, used to cats in her foster home and loves to play. She is not the typical border collie, she is quite calm. Very much a lap dog even. However when she feels she is suppose to work ( as her breed instincts are) whether playing ball or just chasing toys, getting the paper. She is quite the pro at her job. I have always read that the border collie is one the of most intelligent breeds but had no idea to what extreme they meant that. They are great dogs in all respects.
