BIG PUPPY LOVE

I adopted Clancy 1 1/2 years ago from Cabarrus Humane Shelter. His foster dad did not want to give him up but Mom ruled. I was overjoyed. I had 2 collies in my past but for the last 15 years did not live in an environment large enough for a collie. Now I did. Wow! They estimated him at about 2-3 years old, but he acted more like 1. The first day he grabbed up my granddaughter's musical Barney and went to the couch with Barney carefully tucked under his paw. To this day Barney is his baby and he rules the couch.
He loves to love you. He'll stick that cold wet nose right on your chest and just nuzzle as long as you'll let him. While fetch is his favorite game, at night he loves to chase my husband around the kitchen island playing "git ya"!! We recently fenced in the back yard. Behind us is a cow pasture with emus as well. He really thinks he's going to catch one of those creatures. He's my baby. Wakes me in the morning right before the alarm sounds. "Kisses" me goodnight, and watches my every movement in between. This is truly "puppy love".
