My sentiment…

Posted by N. Cathy S. (stevecat511) in In Memoriam

DevilDawg wrote a journal about a sign when her daughter's dog, CoCo passed away. Well, this got me thinking of the signs I have had in my life. When my first husband and I were first married, we lived in Cohoes, NY. There was a gift shop on Remsen Street known as Eva's Gift Shop. The owner was a very nice older woman and over the years, we got … read more

ourstaff

Posted by ourstaff in In Memoriam

My neighbor lost her dog Rudy today. He was a gentle 14+ year old Golden Retriever. He had been slowly failing over the last few months and I suspect that the love of his owner was all that kept him going. The hint of the puppy inside never left him. Last summer I was taking some stuffed toys out to the car to donate. Rudy spotted a stuffed pol… read more

For CoCo(RIP) Little Lady

Posted by DevilDawg in In Memoriam

I may have told this story before, but it's worth repeating. One of my daughters' two year old Pekingnese, CoCo, became very ill very quickly a few years ago at the age of two. She was given excellent care at Tufts Veterinary School in Grafton MA., but passed away from encephalitis. It was extremely devastating to the entire family. She passed in… read more

Chester at age one year

Posted by lilyrose in In Memoriam

Chester was the cutest little Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy when I met him. He had big ears and a big goofy smile to go with them. He grew into those ears...he was 100 pounds as an adult! Chester was my best friend and protector for almost 13 years. He was such an important member of our family. He's been gone almost ten years...and I miss hi… read more

SCOUT AT CAMP

Posted by Peggy W. (4everfawn) in In Memoriam

This was a profile picture I took of Scouter. We had been walking in the woods. I had initially intended on going into the woods by myself so I could photograph wildlife but the whole crew decided to go with me. Scout happened to just stop and I loved the "pose" so I snapped her picture. read more

My Sweet Pea

Posted by Alice M. (mcwhorad) in In Memoriam

This is Sweet Pea. Sweet Pea was our first home hatched chick of Hairy and Shasta's. He was a beautiful and sweet boy. Hairy and Shasta did a great job of raising him. When he was a year old, one friday night, he had some kind of a seizure. He got better after a few minutes but we decided to take him to the vet first thing in the morning. Whi… read more

My love to Scouter--…

Posted by Peggy W. (4everfawn) in In Memoriam

This was our beautiful boxer, Scout. She was an exceptional dog and I will remember and love her forever. She went through the really tough times with me when Pete was so sick. When I had to put Scout to sleep I had her cremains placed with Pete's cremains. They are together. read more

Posted by Kaytee (AshleyPooh21) in In Memoriam

"Remember Me" Remember me with love, not tears, and think of all of our happy years. When I was sick, you were at my side Your tears and fears, you tried to hide.. I know you did your best for me, but God above was calling me. The tears with time, will go away, but the love we shared will always stay. Now the Lord has set me free, that … read more
