Great to be back !!

I may not be fully caught up yet - okay a long way from it LOL but I am back on my much loved Zootoo !!! Yeah for me !! So we spent Mother's Day visiting my Mom and Russell's Mom and then home so I could mow the lawn and THEN .. Happy Mother's Day

Today, on my way to my mother's house I was gifted with a lovely sight. Crossing the road was a family of Canadian geese, two adults and six gosling. We stopped to let them cross the road. What a lovely reminder that people aren't the only one's with families. I'm sure the geese had no idea it is Mother's day, but they still inspired me. What a beautiful family! read more

Our kittie is gone missing!

Lions and Tigers and Bears

Well I'm sure there won't be any of those at Pets and People day, but there are going to be lots of other animals. Eight Bells

I am soooo upset about the Kentucky Derby and how they are treating this trajedy with Eight Bells. They barely even mention Eight Bells in the stories that have already come out. They are more foucsed on Big Brown the winner. There is something so wrong with this situation. I went online and read some blogs and one person was saying that racing fillies is illegal in Europe, their bones are not mature yet. It enrages me. It is a sick sport!! I am so amazed at the community support we received on Tue. Apr. 29, everyone should be so proud of what has been accomplished. The crowd was great! Those 3rd graders from New Central were awesome and their donation amazing!!! The band played wonderfully, The FFA and IC Girls Softball team were so helpful in getting tables and chairs set up for this, we couldn't have done it all with out their help. ok so if any of you zootooers live in the wash pa area you should so check out the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum tommorrow (may 2). Its gonna be so much fun. Transit history Baby. Whoo Hoo! Missing Ginger

In a few days it has almost been one month since the loss of our 16 year companion Ginger Head. I had been medicating her for about a year now and knew it was time to have her put down due to the amount of pain she was having. Some how I think she knew and I think she wanted to go on her own terms in her own yard. Pearl's new puppy

On April 19, 2008 we bring home a new pup for Pearl and the family. Pearl was a little unsure of the puppy at first. Now she is curious and tries to smell her when she can. Pearl is deaf and has turned out to be the best deaf dog. As a pup she has had several training classes and has learned many hand signals. Pearl and Hanna are our family and give us unconditional love. read more
