trust

Boo has shown a lot more trust. He now sleeps on the bed at my feet. Instead of meowing half the night when he is lonely he snuggles up to my legs. The only downside to this is if he wants me to wake up he bats at my feet. He also likes laying on a towel on the foot of the bed during the day and looking out the window. On warm days when I can leave the window up with the screen down he lays right in the window sill. read more

My dogs have changed

It has been three months since I brought Tyler home from the shelter. He has come out of his shell and is quite a tyrant. He is very hyper and barks non stop at anything and anyone. He has caused our other dog to bark along with him. Tyler has turned out to be alpha and thinks he rules the roost. As of the day Zootoo came to our shelter, April 15, I met a certified trainer. She has since come to our house and is now working with both dogs. I will have to say Mattie bit her on the first se… read more

Kelsie's new mischievous deed

I THOUGHT I had this getting into the trash issue fixed, when I got a trash can with the lid, which worked for a COUPLE DAYS. The puggy princess has learned how to flip the lid of the trash can up so she can get in the trash. I caught her the this evening! I come around the kitchen corner just in time to see her hop down from the trash can, licking her lips, and run over by her food bowl and sit like nothing was going on. She didn't think I had seen the first part where she had hopped down fro… read more

A flying...what?

I have a year old lab that is well...not the sharpest knife in the droor and my dachshund absolutely despises him, in a sisterly way. One morning I walked into the dining room and see Rahily shivering under the table, I let this go because she tends to shiver for no reasonsometimes. Then, I see Zeus jumping around on the other side of the table. Around the corner I realize that he was playing with a pillow that he often plays with. Zeus would like to bounce around, shaking his head vigorously wi… read more
