Zac definitely has become "camera smart" and knows when to turn away to avoid the flash. A few times, I have managed to fool him, but he mostly fools me by pretending to not notice the camera then suddenly turning away at the precise moment to avoid a good photograph. Sometimes he squints or closes both eyes and then takes a quick peek to see i… read more

I heard Zac running through the hallway and then heard some commotion in the livingroom. When I turned around to see what was going on, Zeta was on the coffee table jabbing her paws underneath. Zac eventually emerged from under the coffee table and ran onto the diningroom table. Zac looked like he was having fun, but Zeta looked a little irked. … read more

Zac spends a lot of time daydreaming in his "drug box" and spent even more time than usual laying inside once he got his new container of Cosmic Catnip. I didn't know if he would ever come out! Zac is either thinking about going back into his drug box or just thinking "outside the box". I'll never know which one...but I bet he has catnip on hi… read more

Bjorn is still in his trial home, so that's the good news. He was not accepting of anyone in the house initially, but the next day he accepted the people. And then the next day he accepted the dog, but he and the other cat are still working on accepting eachother. They've had a few interactions where one was stalking the other and then they both fr… read more

Well, all day long, Jesse has decided that she isn't going to listen to anyone, and do whatever she pleases....We try to sleep, and she's in and out from under the covers. She will walk up over our chest and heads, and then bring all her toys up and want to play while we are trying to sleep....and then when she goes outside to go potty, all she wa… read more

Dream is such a wonderful girl. She is so gentle and quiet and loving. But, she can also be a real big goof ball. The last few days, she has started something new. We have a small bird feeder in the front yard on a post. Most of the time the birds are sparrows and finches. We will be getting others as the weather gets cooler. Well, Dream h… read more

I've enrolled both dogs in agility classes. Gracie's class begins soon and I'm so excited. My intention when we brought Gracie home was to compete in agility with her. She completed the Basic Agility class, but soon after we received her preliminary hip results of mild dysplasia. So we decided to compete in Rally until we had her final hip xrays… read more
