My son, Sean, Rebel, son in …

Posted in Health & Wellness

My 28 year old daughter, Heather, called a few minutes ago. She gave me the latest news on my son in law, Joe, who is only 34 years old. The place on his back is Stage 4 Melanoma. I am sure we all suspected as much, but it still comes as a shock to the system. I think there is about a 10 to 15 percent survival rate with it. He is anemic, which made… read more

Getting chest x-rays on Monday, MRI is being scheduled … read more

Joe had told the dermatologist, who removed the large Melanoma from his back in 2 separate operations, that he has been having dizziness, night sweats, and has lost 20 pounds in a year. He now weighs 120 pounds, 5 pounds more than Heather... The doc t… read more

News From the Dr

Posted in Health & Wellness

My Urologist got the news from the CT scan, and I saw him today. I thought I might have passed the stone on Tuesday night. I couldn't go to sleep and was up until 4:30 am. I guess I did. It was a miserable night. It seems that the news is a mixed bag. My kidneys have no stones, and I had one in each kidney last January. But the fibroids in my ute… read more
