ZOOTOO.com

This is my favorite site in the whole world. I know its weird, I visit hear first before checking my regular mail, I read animal news and don't even watch the nightly news or world news tonight, not even the darn weather to see if its going to rain tomorrow. I've gotten really attached to lots of people, some I'm close to some I admire from afar by reading comments they make on the pet news articles or reading their journals and finding out they have gone through the same things I have with my p… read more

Vacation and your pets

Ok this is the first time in years we have had a family vacation. The last time we went somewhere we left our pets with family. We cannot do this anymore so we had to board our dogs. Going to the vet after Bear and Boarding the girls

Weird entry maybe, but if you have read my journal entries up to this point you know what I mean. Bear had a severe reaction to vaccinations. Penny did just fine, on benedryl for a few days, but is fine otherwise. I am so relieved I can't even begin to describe how I've… read more

All Shelters and Animal protection groups

I can't say enough good about all of you, everyone involved in working at, or volunteering for these groups should be so proud of yourselves. Its a thankless job but not without its benefits. Everytime you know a pet finds a home, gets spay/neutered, has medical care, is treated humanely you should realize what a big part every single one of you play in it. There aren't near enough people involved in causes like this but the ones who are, YOU, should know how much you are appreciated, God knows … read more

After a visit to the Animal Protective League in S…

We met such wonderful people at the APL. I know PWP is always using their low cost spay/neuter program there. They were friendly and let us take pictures of their services. I was completely amazed at their cat rooms upstairs. They were home like environments, each room with windows and pet beds, climbing trees and kitty cubes and cubby holes. They have a seperate isolation area which we couldn't visit, I totally understand. The volunteers there were great, people come in and walk the dogs in a l… read more
