Pitts as pets

Yes we have one, no she's not mean, yes she gets along great with the other dogs, she loves the cat, yes she stays inside the house, sometimes I have to wonder if people have actually had a bad experience with a pitt or if its just what they have heard. Makeover Winner

I personally feel everyone of the shelters who entered this contest, yes especially the top 20 shelters have won something from this contest. I would hope that everyone could take a look at the big picture here and not feel like they lost or have lost anything by zootooing in this contest. More people in our county talk about animal care and humane issues than ever before. Politicians

Has anyone tried contacting the frontrunners on their view on animal issues??? I did and got a little glimpse of Obama but nothing with Clinton or Mcain. I'm thinking maybe I should start with Senators and Reps. I tried contacting the Pres. candidates and now all I'm getting is email from their campaigns with no more info than I had before. I am so amazed at the community support we received on Tue. Apr. 29, everyone should be so proud of what has been accomplished. The crowd was great! Those 3rd graders from New Central were awesome and their donation amazing!!! The band played wonderfully, The FFA and IC Girls Softball team were so helpful in getting tables and chairs set up for this, we couldn't have done it all with out their help.
