Yesterday morning, as I was preparing to spend the day at shelter,I heard this commentary by Ben Stein. He is rarely off course and he certainly got it right this time. While there are lots of folks suffering in the housing market for a variety of reasons, the animals are suffering, too. Many have been abandoned and left homeless and are now filling shelters.
