Ben Stein Got It Right

Yesterday morning, as I was preparing to spend the day at shelter,I heard this commentary by Ben Stein. He is rarely off course and he certainly got it right this time. While there are lots of folks suffering in the housing market for a variety of reasons, the animals are suffering, too. Many have been abandoned and left homeless and are now filling shelters. Pennies for Pets

I have been so fortunate to have wonderful, caring and generous friends in my life. One of them recently E-mailed me and shared that she is saving all found money (you know, the stuff you find in the parking lot, between your sofa cushions, under your car seats, etc.)and at the end of the year will donate it to the SPCA where I volunteer.
