It was so beautiful outside today! The dogs and I went for a nice long walk. Then I trimmed their nails outside in the sun, which they loved. Keira has been blowing her coat for over two weeks. I brush her on a daily basis during her heavy shedding and I'm amazed at how much fur I remove. She has a very dense undercoat which explains the extreme amount of fur everywhere. She is nearing the end of the heavy shed and looks pretty bald...LOL! Can't wait for her coat to come in again. I definitely needed some good news recently since we're still grieving for Bruiser. I received GREAT news on Monday. Gracie's final OFA hip report arrived and her hips PASSED the evaluation of 3 radiologists with a rating of "Fair." I received the preliminary report of Keira's hips from the OFA. GREAT news! Her hips are graded as EXCELLENT! Excellent is the highest rating of normal hips. I'm so thrilled with the news. I can now continue training her in various dog sports knowing that her hips are sound. I'm now waiting for Gracie's final report from OFA for her hip evalu… read more

Gracie is at the vet today having her hip xrays done. I dropped her off early this morning and I can pick her up later this afternoon. Waiting to pick her up seems like an eternity!
