Weather, fit for penquins & Hrothgar.

Thursday, I sat at MedVet waiting for the Doctors to finish up with Hrothgar. He had his monthly appointment. He has cancer and now we are checking him for Cussings. I won't know anything until maybe monday. I was at MedVet from 1:15 until we left around 5:30. We always stop somewhere and I really did not know if we should as the storm was coming and I was already going to be stuck in rush hour. We stopped at Pet People off Aviery Road. Music Man not helping

I have been bugging my husband to help me with a couple videos. Well, 3 videos if we are counting. I want to do a video with each of the dogs. I want to make it a music video. You see my husband is an awesome guitar player and has a wonderful singing voice. No, I am not just saying that because he is my husband. It is true. He was in a local band for many, many years. Peytonplace--Lovin' the Muffin Man

Wednesday is always a major day at the Peytonplace. We have friends who come over to watch American Idol. We have dinner which my husband always cooks which is always very, very, very good. Valentine's Day Gift

Tuesday was a horrible day. I broke my camera. Yes, the same camera I take all the pictures and video for zootoo. But that is also the same camera I use to to get pictures of the shelter animals to list on the net. Wednesday, I went shopping for one and gave up. Caring for the Hrothgar

Today was one of those weird days. You know, the ones that make you sit back and think about things. Don't get me wrong. It started out normal. Got up fed the dogs and logged into zootoo. Then it started. Hrothgar, our lab, has cancer, mass cell tumors. Found this out in Jan. 07. He has been in chemo. In July, he developed a skin problem from the steriods which is part of the treatment. And his skin has been a mess for a while. I think I get it mostly under control … read more
