Since we are all shelter/rescue folks, I know I can vent. I want to vent about folks who just do not understand how or what it takes to adopt an animal. Our humane society operates the county shelter and I think folks think they can get a pet cheap. After all, it is still the dog pound in their eyes. However, it is not that way. My car name Hrothgar

Yes, that is right. I named one of my cars after my lab Hrothgar. The car is one of my dream cars. It is a 2006 Dodge Daytona limited edition. The color is GoManGo! (metallic orange). I named the car after Hrothgar because in he younger years, he would run really fast. Like he had his on Hemi engine in his body. Zootoo Celebration

It has been 5 days since Zootoo came to our shelter. I just can not believe it has come and gone. The excitement of getting to April 22nd and now that part is over. I sit and read the journals not just from Richard but from others and I really wish everybody could get the funds they need to do the improvements to their shelter. No Plans!! Well, almost.

With all the excitement of Zootoo coming on April 22nd and the North Shore Animal League's Tour for Life on the 23rd, I was a busy person. Making sure all the ducks were in a row so to say. Gas Prices, Busted Nail, Water Ballet Lessons

All of that and no chocolate. Today was Differ's Water Ballet Lessons as we call it. I got to the vet office, ran in and said, "dropping her off and going to MedVet for Hrothgar's cancer meds".
