As many know, my Hrothgar is 13 years old and has cancer. He has been getting treatment now for 2 years. We started going to Medvet in Jan, 2007. Candy came home on Jan. 8th. The shelter named her Candy. Well, to be honest, I named her since I am the shelter director. This was before I even thought about adopting her. I brought Candy home on Jan. 8th. She is a petite choc lab about a 1 1/2 years old. She came to our shelter as a stray brought in by the dog warden. No owner came to claim her.
