Well, another rainy day at Angel Acres! I was able to mow one of the paddocks and dump the manure spreader, but doing much beyond that was almost impossible due to the mud and muck! Tomorrow will be a better day for outside work, I hope! Jo did manage to take some video of me mowing...ah the joy! read more

WOW...it rained almost non stop for hours and hours and hours! I was out at 6 am trying to make sure the barns didnt flood (which they didnt) and to make sure the driveway (its gravel) didnt wash away (it didnt) and then ended up being outside till 9am! Ok, I figured out that I cannot upload two photos at once to one journal entry, so here is the group of girls with the boys in the field. Well, Angel Acres had visitors in for today! Jo's friends from New York were in and visited the girls, Fran, Jo and Jackie at one of the farms in MD. Well, Jo is happy, I have my photo up here...not REAL thrilled about it...lol... I am off to help feed and muck the horses for the evening. I am the maintanance crew around here and must get the tractor ready before the rain thats due in this weekend. If I could teach Jo had to drive an 8N it would be a good thing! LOL! read more
