My neighbor lost her dog Rudy today. He was a gentle 14+ year old Golden Retriever. The heavily matted little (7 lbs) cock-er Spaniel that was found outside of a local vet has died. The ASPCA gave him fluids, transfusions, etc but they were unable to save him.
