Spring fashion setters

I am going to try to post one small fund raising idea a week in the hope that one of them will be helpful. This weeks idea... Going green to make some green

I was in the grocery store "visiting" the junk food section the other day. Chips, dips and future fat on the hips are not that good for me so I have to settle for just strolling down memory lane and the smell of by-gone Lays (potato chips). ("Security to aisle 5. Growing a small fundraiser

It is finally starting to look like spring. The tiny touches of green have made me think of money and some ways to get it. This is one of them. Anyone who has a successful garden has been faced with the problem of what to do with the extra stuff when your family gets sick of it. Why not add a farmers market section to your next bake/yard/whatever sale? Save the card board flats that canned food comes in and use them as displays (or instead of bags.) Small fund raising idea

I noticed that people were throwing a ton of empty soda and beer bottles away a few summers ago. Placed a small chart next to my door with a sign that told people that I would return the bottles they left and donate all of the money to a local rescue group. I had about $100 by Labor day. I had a couple of people who started bringing home empties from work. This is a little time consuming for someone working on their own but it might be a nice group/family project. A small idea

The drab winter days are beginning to shuffle their way off of Buffalo. The sun came out for more than a tease and a little idea came with it. How many of you have bought one of those card board sun guards for your car? You don't need to buy one of those long things that cover the entire front window. A smaller piece with a fold will cover your steering wheel and keep it cool. A smaller cover that is easy to make and can be used as a small fundraiser. Scrap card board is easy to find… read more
