Spring fashion setters

I am going to try to post one small fund raising idea a week in the hope that one of them will be helpful. This weeks idea... Hand-cat-chiefs and Doggie-do-rags The spring weather seems to be the start of walk-a-thons, pet beauty shows and other outings. A lot of groups start to design new tee shirts to sell at these events. I don't know about you, but I have been buying these type of tee-shirts for so many years that some of them are getting old enough to join AARP. ;} I have a… read more

That's just Buffalo

If you stand in a doorway and look up at the jam you will get a idea of how deep the blowing lake snow can get in a matter of days. I was thinking about getting… read more

The queen sized sleeper sofa. The queen sized sleeper sofa with the (aren't you soooo... glad you decided to get) extra HEAVY duty back support insert. My little peasant frame and strength(4'11") wasn't up to the queen sized lifting requirements. I needed a plan. I began collecting wood while Fluzzy, Sno… read more

Growing a small fundraiser

It is finally starting to look like spring. The tiny touches of green have made me think of money and some ways to get it. This is one of them. Anyone who has a successful garden has been faced with the problem of what to do with the extra stuff when your family gets sick of it. Why not add a farmers market section to your next bake/yard/whatever sale? Save the card board flats that canned food comes in and use them as displays (or instead of bags.) You get to show off yo… read more
