Yesterday there were 6 squirrels, 3 bluejays and 2 cardinals having a pre-storm feast in the backyard. It was great to see so many of my little friends again! Will try to post pics. read more

I hadn't seen any bluejays in probably 2-3 months...I figured that they fly south for the winter, until I saw a big one in my backyard today. Before the winds came, he was out there eating some seed I put out the day before. It was just him and a few squirrels...and yes, they ate everything that was there! read more

2 days ago, before the storm, I put out a bunch of birdseed and pieces of bread crust for my little friends in the back yard. Then the storm came before they were able to eat it all. this little guy was digging in my backyard looking for the food that I had put out the day before. the snow was kinda deep and everytime he went down to eat something, he disappeared. there are more pics of him under my zoo: backyard birds (I couldn't add 'squirrels' to my pets). read more
