Well, I'm up a O-dark:thirty to get on the road for Thorp for the puppy mill auction. My husband, who is technically retired drives school bus, so he's up with me. He leaves, comes back less a minute later, "I forgot my shoes." He still his slippers on! Ha! read more

Cora is really coming around. Last night she spent most of the evening with us and all the other cats in the living room. She trusts me totally, but still a little leery of my husband, but he's working on her. I'm so glad she's inside now. There's no way I'd every let her go. read more

Recently, The WCHS has received lots of bedspreads from local hotels. After thoroughly cleaned, I've been making them into wonderful beds for the shelter cats. They're already quilted, so half the job is already done. Contact your local establishments to see if they'll donate the same for your shelter. read more
